Markus Eye
Way
back starting in grade school, Markus Eye's school teachers
recognized his talents in the arts. Then in high school,
his fine art painting caught the eyes of the Governor
of Wisconsin, Patrick Louey who awarded him for his talents.
After
graduation, he went to work for Frank H. Bercker Commercial
Art Studio, and also attended a Midwestern university
for fine art.
In
his free time he rented a pre-civil war historical landmark
building studio space called The Iron Block. His work
from there was exhibited in banks, airports, large plush
hotels, and city hall.
Markus'
activity in college lead him to many awards and over 50
photographs published. The college newspaper asked him
to be photo editor with a responsibility of supervision
15 photographers. Markus' performance was recognized in
St. Louis MO by the Associated College Press and National
Council of College Publications Association.
After
leaving college, Markus Eye went to work for a commercial
advertising photography studio. There clients included
Kraft, Harley Davidson, Miller Beer, Country Hand Craft
Avery Jewelry, Boston Store, and Dow Chemical. Markus
then progressed to a national award winning studio, photographing
for General Motors, Cancery Restaurant, Vito Instruments,
Custom Craft Yarns, Johnson & Johnson, and Target
Stores.
Eye
then became the director of operations of a modeling agency
casting over 350 models and actors all over the nation,
along with judging pageants.
After
5-1/2 years with the modeling agency, Markus went on tour
with a crew, photographing all over the United States,
and settled in Sedona AZ, where he is today.
